Oh yeah! This upcoming weekend we will be one of the exhibitors at VeggieWorld in de jaarbeurs in Utrecht, hosted by Proveg. Because we’d love for you come, we’re sharing in this post 6 reasons why you should make VeggieWorld your plans for the weekend!
1. (Vegan) Inspiration, that isn’t just for vegans
So yes, Veggie World’s mission is to introduce as many people as possible to a vegan lifestyle. But that doesn’t mean you have to be vegan to go there. The contrary! It is actually a great place if you are not (yet) vegan, since you can get tons of inspiration and knowledge surrounding the vegan and eco-friendly lifestyle. You can all your questions answered by speakers like Zero Waste Project founder Jessie Kroon or Pablo Moleman from ProVeg. Or steal recipes from people like Tomi Makanjuola (The Vegan Nigerian) and Jason from The Indigo Kitchen for the perfect insta-friendly, tasty vegan food.
2. The Themed areas
There will be two themed areas at VeggieWorld this year! If your sporty or a big (healthy) foodie the “Fitplein” is for you! There will be cooking demonstrations, Yoga classes and you can ask your questions to doctors, dietitians and athletes.
The second area is the Grow Green zone. Here you can learn all about the best way to take care of your plants. Or get inspired for sustainable projects you can easily undertake at home.
3. Kids
There’s actually lots on the program for kids too! From lectures and workshops to crafts and scavenger hunting. Oh, and kids up to 14 years old are free!
4. The Food
I mean, do I need to say more? Pie, burgers, waffles, cupcakes and so much more. And yes, all vegan.
5. The stuff
Apart from the food there’s also a lot of stands that will sell cruelty free and vegan products like clothes and coconut bowls from our friends at Plant Ahead!
6. We’re there!
And yes, of course we’re there! Which is a great reason to come because we’ll have a super fun announcement that we’ll make on here on Monday, but visitors of VeggieWorld will already find out this weekend. On top of that we’ll bring all of our notebooks and bags and will have some nice deals.
Did I convince you? You can find more information here and get your tickets online. I recommend buying them ahead since they’re 2 euros cheaper online. Hope to see you this weekend!
